Cody and Renae are on the blog this afternoon bringing you all the smiles and joy to your screen. I was just tickled pink when Renae reached out about their wedding this August. These two are especially near and dear to me because they are church family! Cody is one of our volunteer tech guys along with his dad Roy and his brother, Jared, who is our lead tech on staff. I’m forever thankful for brainiacs who understand such things that help us run services and ministries so smoothly! Renae is a leader of one of our awesome and thriving Lifegroup’s called Pathfinders which is a bible study for young adults with special needs, which is a huge driving passion in Renae’s life. A few times a month Aaron and I lead worship along side Renae’s dad, Terry who is one of our volunteer guitarists! There are just so many connections and it’s sweet how we can all share our gifts and our passions within the body of Christ. It’s a true privilege of mine to see these two coming together and preparing to be one and it’s fun that they’ll be getting married within the walls of our home church!
You’d probably never guess that we shot these images on a balmy 60 degree day in mid march surrounded by mud and puddles but they wanted winter photos and by gosh I wasn’t gonna let them down! I think we did it! Shooting in March-early May can be dicey in Wisconsin due to the uncertainty of the weather and the lack of green but they trusted me through the whole session which is all I can ask for from my couples. I love you both and your wedding will be here before we know it! Enjoy a glimpse into their wintery engagement session. 🙂
