Well, hey! I'm jess.
I'm really glad you found my corner of the internet. I was taught by my dad from a really young age to take life by the horns and live it to the fullest. I don't take it for granted. I believe if we look hard enough there is always something beautiful to be found. I see it in the big moments that we can't forget as well as in the mundane that we so easily look past. I see it in the way the morning light hits the trees just right creating golden silhouettes on the grass. I see it in how a mother caresses her child's head as they're out for a walk together. I see these moments everywhere, everyday, and when I discovered I could capture them for all of time and eternity through a camera, my world flipped upside down.
Being your photographer is about so much more than a beautiful image. It's about reminding you of the immense beauty that is your life. You're going to look at your photos and feel that memory. It'll bring you right back to that moment you wish you could relive over and over again. Through my photos I'll bottle up as much as I can for you so those precious memories and feelings won't go forgotten. When you work with me you're not only getting an exceptional product but a friend you feel like you've known your whole life. I've been a photographer in Eau Claire, WI for over a decade now, and at this point I like to think I'm an expert in my craft. Not only do I know how to deliver exceptional images for you to hold dear but I plan to serve you beyond your photographs. I've never been a surface level girl. I'm not interested in that. I want to capture who you are at your core. I want you to feel real emotion when you look at your photographs. I want them to transport you right back to that moment. Through my intentional "unposed" posing methods I will guide you the whole time we're together to capture all the real stuff. Nothing stuffy, fluffy or posed. This is about bottling up real memories and capturing your life season just as it is. Which is perfect, might I add.

Obviously I have to start with my best friend. This guy. He's my rock. My warm blanket. My medicine. I've never been known so deeply and loved so fully. He's also really funny..so that's a great plus.
2. My Nora Girl
Being her mama is everything I've ever wanted. Watching her grow into the person God has made her to be will forever be my favorite thing. I love loving her.
3. Singing
Music is a huge part of my life. I've been singing as long as I can remember. Aaron is a worship director and my favorite thing is leading worship beside him week after week.
4. Homemaking
There's nothing more important to me than creating a warm and inviting space for my friend a family to take refuge. Cooking, cleaning, decorating, organizing, stocking our cupboards, making sourdough...all the things. It brings me so much joy.
5. Dog mama!
Polly, also known as floofer, fluff, Polly wolly bing bong, and pupperoni joined our family in the fall of 2023 and it has been such a joy having this giant lap dog to snuggle all the time. We love her so!
