Dakota + Kelsey // Eau Claire Country Club Wedding

I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing Dakota and Kelsey’s Eau Claire Country club wedding with you today! Their day was aesthetically beautiful with Kelsey’s close attention detail tying in powder blue accents with her neutral wedding day color palette. Kelsey’s dress and veil from Bella Bridal Boutique was to die for. The dreamy white a green flower arrangements made my neutral loving heart skip a beat. There were so many lovely details.

Not only was the day outwardly stunning, but Dakota, Kelsey and their wedding party were truly a blast to hang out with all day. We had so much fun photographing their dearest friends and family who were all bursting with personality and jokes. My kind of people for sure! The joy was overflowing and you couldn’t help but smile. My cheeks actually were hurting from laughing so much with them! A personal highlight for me was the special music during the ceremony. Their musicians sang the song “I Wanna Grow Old With You” an Adam Sandler original from the classic film, “The Wedding Singer.” The lyrics in this song, though they are funny at times, give you a pretty good idea of what marriage and life can really look like sometimes. I’d say that song choice actually really speaks to the heart of who Dakota and Kelsey are. Both of them are incredibly authentic which I value so much in my couples. They deeply care for others, are incredibly laid back, have great senses of humor and genuinely value the simple riches in this life: Good food, good beer, and strong lasting relationships. Also, I’m pretty sure they’re basically the Wisconsinite versions of Chip and Joanna Gaines. haha! Kelsey is dang good at DIY and repurposing and Dakota is just the guy to help her build whatever she needs. Match made in heaven.
