They walked up to the state capital here in Austin, TX hand in hand smiling at one another like nobody else in the world existed. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
Matt and Michallee met in Denver, Colorado by happenstance at a country concert. Michallee, a Colorado native was there enjoying life with her best friend. Matt, a good ol’ southern boy from Louisiana was visiting with a group of friends. I’m sure the last thing either of them thought was that they’d meet their forever that night. Michallee said moments after meeting Matt she was drawn to him. There was an instant connection that turned into a night of two-stepping and the rest is history. Michallee had always asked the Lord to give her a tangible confirmation when she met “the one.” The quickly developing feelings she had for Matt were confirmed, just as she had asked, and from there they went all in fast, and said the words “I love you” within weeks of knowing one another.
To many, that may seem fast. But personally I relate to this so much as my husband Aaron and I said those three words within a few months of being together as well. There are no truer words than “when you know you know.” They had found their forever, and I can attest by being a first hand witness that their love is the real deal, people. Fierce. Full. Passionate. They moved together to Austin, TX where they often can be found doing anything outside. Fishing, hunting, checking out the good local grub – y’all picked a GREAT city for food if I do say so myself.
Also can we talk about for a minute how freakin’ GORGEOUS these two are? Talk about ideal clients in every sense of the word! The way Matt would pull her close, and kiss her cheek not because I was prompting them, but simply because he wanted to…Gentlemen, take note from Matt. There was no doubt in my mind how much he loved his girl, and no doubt in her mind that she is his one and only. Not only do their images reflect how comfortable and how genuine their love is, but it wasn’t just for show. When I stopped shooting whether I was perfecting my settings, or switching a lens their affection continued to out pour. It’s not something you see every day.
I left their session feeling inspired to love my husband harder. I left feeling refreshed and renewed. You two may not realize it, but you impacted me in the short time we had together and I’m sure I’m not the first to experience this. Keep doing what you’re doing. Keep fighting the good fight.
