This wedding season so far has been nothing short of beautiful. Josh and Leah’s wedding day was no exception. As Abbie and I walked into Wild Ridge here in Eau Claire, WI there was a peace and calm you could feel. It set the tone for how the entire day played out…there was no stress…no rush…just gratitude and an overflow of love. Ugh, I just love my job. The Lord’s presence was heavy and it was absolutely wonderful to be apart of such a God ordained wedding day.
Josh and Leah were quite literally shoved together by the Lord’s work in their lives and to see the two of them finally come together as one was such an honor to photograph. It is SO clear they are meant for one another down to the way they quite literally fit together like two puzzle pieces. I was posing them and every shot was perfection….you’ll just have to scroll down to see. Usually my favorite part of the day is portraits but I’ve gotta say…listening to Leah and Josh read their vows to one another got me good. They have such depth and appreciation for one another and they do not take what they have been given for granted.
I love when the Lord brings people together and I love that I GET to be apart of the story even if it’s in a small way. Here is a little look into a union that has been long awaited and oh, so sweet.
